The hole-punching medic may be replaced with a knot tying one instead, I am wanting to find an alternative to the I.D. cards for medics to punch at the scenario events.

One idea involved players having a small thin red yarn/rope attached to them, and when in need of "healing", the medic runs up and ties a knot in the small rope (stopping the bleeding) and they are back in it again. It would take a second to do, and you could limit your knots to say 3-5 before you are no longer healable

WOW! Look, my first post!!! Yeah! Only 20 days later. Wink
I have to agree w/WildBill about the punch cards. The Tying method could easily be done by "anyone" on the field, NOT "just" the medic, and would make it easier to cheat. UNLESS you give something like a specific color(designated that morn by U Jason) of wireties to each teams "medics".

The last scenerio I played, that field used designated "Medic refs" who were actual refs from the field assigned to do only medic duty for the team assigned.
Prob is...finding people who want to be refs!!!Wink

sure theres more that can be done with the medic but considering the medic wasnt used AT ALL in the last scenario, and with the nonexistant budget Im working with, something cheap sounds good. Even with simple "wipe only" rules the medic seemed unimportant.
